This easy and quick tutorial will show
you how to create a mosaic using any picture or how to create a partial
effect so that part of the picture show that effect.

This tutorial will create a tile
overlay that can be use to give your pictures a different look and texture
and is very simple to do. Open your picture in Photoshop and lets get
started.

The first thing to
do is duplicate the layer Layer-Duplicate Layer and then we will
click on Filter- Pixelate- Mosaic. The size of your
tiles should be according to the size of your picture. Mine will be 30.

Go to
Filter-Sharpen-Sharpen and then repeat the same process for a total
of two and then set the layer mode to Overlay.

Now go back to the original picture and
change the layer mode to Dissolve

Pass the mouse on top of the picture
to see the Before and After.
