There is nothing more important in a party that multicolored balloons and what better way to bring them to the party than drawing them on a nice birthday card. They look very real and the tutorial is very simple. Enjoy!span>

Step 01:
To create our balloons we need a background for presentation purposes. Create a document and fill it with any color, texture or picture you want.
Step 02:
Now create a new layer Layer-New Layer and using any tool of your choice like the Pen Tool, the Elliptical Marquee Tool or the Lasso Tool, create the balloon shape.

Step 03:
Now select the Gradient Tool with the properties you see in the picture and load the colors shown there.

Step 04:
Trace a diagonal line from left to right starting from outside the shape and going all the way out like its shown in the picture.

Step 05:
And here is our balloon shape. Hit Select-Deselect.

Step 06:
Create a new layer Layer-New Layer and using the Elliptical Marquee Tool create an elliptical shape and fill it white.

Step 07:
Use the Warp Tool or the edit-Transform-Distort or Warp and give it the shape shown. You can also use the Liquefy Tool to accomplish this.

Step 08:
Now click Filter-Blur-Gaussian Blur and apply enough of it to make it look like light reflection. Click OK when you are done.

Step 09:
If needed, use the Move Tool and relocate the layer to place the shine properly. Now we go for the tip of the balloon. Create a new layer Layer-New Layer and draw that shape.

Step 10:
Like we did before, put a little white brush there and then apply the Gaussian blur to make it reflect light.

Step 11:
Reduce the opacity as needed and we are done. Happy Drawings!!
